Rates & Insurance

Rates

I will provide you my rates prior to booking a first appointment. Rates vary depending on the type of psychotherapy services you are seeking. I will also provide you with a "Good Faith Estimate", outlining all fees and services, prior to working together.

Insurance

I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not accept insurance.

Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be partially covered. Please contact your health care insurance to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services provided by an out-of-network provider.

I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

  • Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
  • Does my insurance cover for marital, couples, and/or family counseling?
  • Does my insurance include any benefit or reimbursement when I work with an out-of-network provider? If so, where do I submit receipts (likely Superbills) for these services after I receive them from my provider?
  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
  • Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

Payment

I accept personal checks associated with HSA accounts and all major credit cards as forms of payment.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the session time.
